I'm not seeing any candy canes anywhere but the snow is falling and 'baby it's cold outside!'

And I'm actually seeing snow in the forecast for next week!:celebrate Of course we have to have the obligatory bout of freezing drizzle that Missouri provides us with each winter before the unrelenting grays and browns of winter are replaced by the unrelenting white of snow.

But by this time next week we will officially gain about 5 minutes more of daylight! And early spring is only about what 3.5 months away?

And what happens in spring? BABY CHICKS!

Yeah, okay, I know I'm reaching here but hey, I gotta hang on to something to get me through the worst part of our winter.

I've got BYC snowflakes falling, A little santa cap up on the top right (above alerts), but no candy canes here.

Rain supposed to start here after midnight and last till Saturday morning. Just had training that dropped 1.75" that ended a day ago. Ground is saturated and there's a flash flood watch up for the same period for my area. I'm high up so no threat to me.

After the cold front passes through we're gonna see some much colder temps. Was 75°f here today. Nice though that the forecast has changed today to lows mostly in the low 30s... Yesterday it was forecasting in the low 20s for a 5 day stretch... :wee

Seed catalogues! I found a seed place today that sells bulbs separately! They have a lot of interesting things. Got hubby a coal scoop to clean the stove. So hard to find him anything!
