The Old Folks Home

This is chickadoodles. I was on this morning and posted to wish Ron happy birthday.
Well, I tried to upload a pic for his b-day and it loaded a Christmas card. I could not see it
very well on my phone... So I deleted the post and re-posted it.
After that I tried to get back on BYC only to be told my email's were bouncing back.
And I had to update my email addy. I tried to no avail. I still cannot use my account.
So I had to create a new one to try to get some help in fixing my account.
I messaged a Mod to request help per Ron's suggestion. Still waiting on an answer.

For some reason after I lost the ability to click like on post's it tried to let me have some
controls for some reason.

The same thing happened to Sourland shortly after the forum changed to this platform. It was nuts - one day he was fine, the next, his emails were bouncing back, and nothing had changed at his end. They did eventually get his account straightened out, but it was pretty frustrating for him.

This duck was sitting just like this, just outside my patio. It's been hanging around all day. It's wild. Later on, I put a bit of chicken feed over away from my coop, but it didn't try to eat any of it. Much later, Dh and the grandkids discovered it was out there. Dh seems to think we need to care for it. He thinks it's a female. He put some plywood on the trailer bed, and hay underneath to give it shelter, and a place to nest. He, and the kids tossed some bread to it, which is how I know it's not tame at all. It wouldn't come near anyone, even for bread. Yes, I know too much bread is not good for them. I'm not sure it's healthy tho. I don't want it giving something to my chickens. It doesn't appear to be injured, but it walks off if someone tries to get close. It doesn't seem to have much energy. I guess, if it's here tomorrow, I'll put out a water bucket, and a feed dish.
I don't know very much about ducks. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

what a awful mess

Chicka! What a freaking mess! I sure hope they get it straightened out for you. When technology works, it's wonderful but when it doesn't it's a royal pain in the tush!

It is a muscovy duck. People raise them. Could be feral or maybe someone dumped it?
