a quick note before I go take a nap

Pathology analysis from surgery...

Ok for what its worth... I have lost a grand total of 20 lbs. Because of the state of growth of the cancer tumor (aggressively in the wall of my Uterus) even though they got it all in the surgery I will be going through seven to eight weeks of Radiation Therepy.

There are indicators that I have the genetic propensity toward Colon cancer.... So I will be going through Genetic testing for that as well.

Radiation and or Genetic testing wont start till I have fully recovered from the surgery.

Lately I have been feeling dibilitating pain in my abdomen.... upon getting up out of a chair or straightening up after leaning over. It feels like I am ripping something... Told the doc and he said is from bruising during the surgery.... They did a nerve block on my abdominal wall prior to surgery ... I read up on that and its good for about fifteen days. so Its just now beginning to run out... so increased pain is being felt. All good Um er... just Not bad...

So I may be headed for more weight loss as well as hair loss on my abdomen and lower.... All Good.

Thanks for the update!

Coming back to feeling from nerve block is brutal! My DW had one for her wrist surgery.

Oh Boy!

Nice positive attitude on the weight loss. I hope you get to moving around better soon and keep us updated!

We would love to know when you get to ring the bell after treatment is over

Deb please take heart we all love you and pray for you... I lost all hair and eyebrow with chemo and radiation my brow came back white as snow but due to medical menopause I have great black hairs on chin :rant:gig

Thanks for the update @perchie.girl. I was thinking about you yesterday and wondering how you were doing.

Hang in there. I know life isn't much fun right now but you can and will get through this. You just have to keep that 'keep your eyes on the prize' outlook that you have and remember that we are all rooting for you!
:hugs
