The Old Folks Home

She is on the pain meds but she said she is sober and is not drinking at all.
I hope and pray it's true! She saw a lawyer. He thinks she won't have to go to
court. He said this company is pretty good about settling.

pray allot and often there as she is over 18 maybe scared her enough to stay sober:bow

I told her to invest half and live off the interest.
It would have to be one heck of a payout to live off the interest/dividends even if it were ALL invested.

As far as I know I'd have to drive a couple hours south just to see some so the "following" thing wouldn't work but maybe, "but honey, I forgot and left the car door open but I didn't see em til I got home". Wonder if that would work?
It might, just make sure he doesn't see the grain you "accidentally" spilled on the floor. And make sure there is a blanket back there that they could have hidden under.

Freezing rain here. I'm subbing for a co worker so I'm at work. Hope it stops before my ride home.
Stay safe, and if necessary stay at work until it is safe to get out on the roads. The "Eye on the Sky" guy gave that recommendation for up here. They are in St. Johnsbury, VT. He said he gets off work about 6 but isn't planning to head home until about 7:30 when the worst is over and the plows have had time to clear the roads.

Thanks!
I had California and local history in grammar school, high school and two of them in College. It was very fun!

I read the Ishi, last of his Tribe book too. I also wrote a paper on a tribe in the Paskenta area that was forced to move to the coast. It was a mini trail of tears type of thing.

As invaders, we were not nice to the Native Population.

Lots of Bingo places here now tough! Those are from the ones that survibed
I think I read California actually has the highest population of Native Americans in the US. Living in cities though. Not sure if they are counting the Natives that are indigenous to the area or moved from eastern tribes in the US or if it includes immigrants from Mexico, Central/South America?

Oh yea tribes here have nothing to cry about they are all millionaires
with the casinos here also no less than 6
Yeah the Iroquois, Mohawk, Seneca, have casinos here. Pretty funny first time we went to Turning Stone casino. We were eating at the buffet (superb awesome buffet) and DW mentioned there was a lot of orientals working there.... Umm... Did you forget where we are? Lol! They don't look oriental anyway.

We do have a fairly high number here that is a native tribe. There is a casino in the Capay Valley and a place called the Rumsey tribe Rancharia.

They are descendants of the survivors
