The Old Folks Home

Thanks Micro.
I was also one to let people know if there was a problem. I did take the base even though there is a small crack in the top back corner. It will be covered by the counter top. I did call dh to ask him first he said ok.

I've been looking for kitchen curtains or fabric toake some and so far ziltch.
I did find some pretty fabric at Missouri Star quilt comp. But that would have been 80. Plus shipping!
So I will keep looking.lol

What theme are you thinking I can look out here cotton or blend ?
got the second cup now me no get three IBD

That's funny my mom told me she would rather me stop running off to smoke and asked me what kind I was smoking. I told her and she bought them for me. I was 13. My parents did not ask us to get stuff from the store. But they did give us a dollar a week when they had it. I bought records with it mostly 45's. I had a bunch of spindle cases full of them.

Oh I'm sorry Penny.

I want something multi color pastels cotton.
So I can find some through rugs and other odds and ends. I would like to get a few bird cages and put some greenery and vines trailing and maybe add a few flowers for some color. I'm thinking of a very pale yellow for the walls with antique white trim.

I have heard of Unadilla. Dad knew all those towns, being a RR dispatcher.
Yup, railroad goes right through it, town borders Unadilla river, runs into the Susquehanna.
The original York rake, (landscaping rake) for tractors, originally horse drawn rake road grader, was invented there and they still make them. Small place.
Where the Susquehanna and Unadilla rivers meet it was a meeting place for the Iroquois, Unadilla means meeting place. See people walking through the fields, river flats, after they plow them for corn, looking for Indian arrow heads. They do find some.

Back in the '80s my aunt would send my cousin and me down to the store with a note to get her cigarettes. They probably were not supposed to then but they did. Remember those cigarette vending machines? Boy they made it easy for kids to get a pack.
I see them on EBay, I'd like to get one someday to put in the garage, right next to one of the old bottle coke machines.

Here's one for you 'Old Folks' lol.
