The Old Folks Home

I, for one, felt the passport was very invasive to my privacy.
Here I would need three things to get a real ID:

Proof of SSI
Proof of resicency
Proof of birth--birth certificate

I had to have two documents for my Drivers license Way back when

And that birth certificate has to be an officially produced, embossed seal, certificate ... photocopies don't count. You would have to contact the county where you were born to get it if you don't have one. I'm not even sure how much documentation they would require to send that out. Anyone could claim they were "you" and ask for it. Hopefully they wouldn't ask for a copy of your birth certificate ;)

Each county has a process here. It usually involves taking documents to a notary of the public. I have had to get new ones for my Daughters when they started driving. It does take a week or so to get them.

I better check to see if mine has the official seal on it!

Spouse made me do a "romantic weekend" in the big city just last week:rolleyes:

While there we went to a bar that had a trivia night... :th We bombed.

One question was about some new gadget that came out in 2013... spouse and I had NEVER heard of it.
