I use the "Compu-defrost" feature on mine. But only for big stuff. Shrimp and fish thaw quickly when put in a ziplock in hot water. Sometimes have to replace the water though, for some reason it gets cold pretty fast!

Defrost on my microwave does not work well!

My fault for getting one that that was very reasonably priced. I am still happy with it though!

My quail will be old enough to go without a light next week! I started turning it off during the day , today. A few more weeks and they should be laying eggs!

Great news SGC. For both you and doggo.

It was so nice here today. Temps well into the 70s. We have the windows open right now and the temp in the house is 80. No fire since early this morning. So nice to inhale fresh air for a change. We just heard what seemed like 100 coyotes howling some distance away. Early this morning I heard a tom turkey crowing in the timber to the east of our house.

Our problem tree is still a problem. No winds today so no luck getting it on the ground. We decided the only safe way to bring down the smaller tree is with the miracle of modern firepower. Meaning we are going to shoot the 10 inch diameter trunk on the smaller tree until it succumbs and both trees come crashing down. We have a hill behind the trees so there is a natural berm for us should any rounds go astray. So far they haven't nor has the tree succumbed. We dropped two widow makers using this solution before. Range time and wood processing at the same time. Gotta love it.

We had a tree here that was used for target practise. It was still alive when we moved here but fell recently in a storm. Really huge old tulip tree. A shame they destroyed it . I mean, there are plenty of dead trees here to shoot.

The weather here is great too! It was 82 in my workshop today. I may need ac in there! Or one of those pop up tents so i can work in the shade outside. Hoping Saturday will be nice, plan to take bunnies to a sale.
