The Old Folks Home

guess got it from my folks I like a good western
Me too, get it from my grandpa, mom's side, he was always watching the old one's. Just the other day I told DW , dang I sound just like my grandpa screaming at the kids who were too loud while we were watching TV, "SHUT UP!!"
Grandpa would scream the same when all us grandkids were there "SHUT UP!!!! HE HAW'S ON!!" lol :lau
Last time I was over to their place few, six, seven yrs ago?, before gram died of pancreatic cancer, and then he just up and croaked shortly after, he was telling tales, 'yarns' of going out west and working on ranches driving cattle and breaking horses (could never believe him, he liked to elaborate/lie) but gram 'sleeping' in the next room kept screaming and correcting him on names and yrs so must have been true "can't remember what you did today but tell a story from 50 yrs ago!!"
Wish he was still around. Everytime I watch a old western I think of him.

We still watch Scooby Doo, Looney Tunes, and Tom and Jerry, sometimes. Still on, everyday not just Saturdays like when we were kids. Actually at 4pm when we got off the school bus, daily our local TV had on a half hour of Scooby Doo then Tom and Jerry, Lol.
We rarely got fancy cereals for breakfast though, just plain cheap corn flakes.... brown sugar must have been cheap then cause mom always let us put brown sugar on our corn flakes.
We had a Quick Draw Mcgraw board game back then, loved playing it lol.
