The Old Folks Home

I have to admit, I'm going to miss them in the hobby room, especially in the morning when the little cockerels try to crow.
How old are those chicks if the cockerels are starting to crow!??! STILL in the house?

When I was 12 I was ejected out of a pickup on the freeway.
That sounds more than a little scary. Could be that is why there are laws against traveling in such a manner now. How many years of life did your parents (assuming they were both in the truck) lose when they saw their kids flying out of the back?

can't tell ya how many times I have just stood there in the grocery store thinking. Then someone asks if they can help me find something. I always have to say no thank you , I just know I needed to get more stuff, but I can't remember what. :old
Happens to me too. I tell them I'm visualizing the shopping list I forgot to take off the refrigerator.

@bruceha2000, the chicks are just 9 weeks old now. I think they were about a week old when I got them.

I'd planned to put them all out long before now but the weather here has been just plain stinky so they have stayed in our hobby room waiting for the ground to dry out so I could get out and clean the coop before they took up residency there. Got that done yesterday....man am I stiff and sore today.....So today is moving day for them.

They are SDW OEGB and yes, the males started crowing at 7 weeks. I couldn't believe it. I've never had cockerels crow that young.

I'm going to take pictures of them before they go out.

I get brain freeze all the time when I am shopping. Usually I start out knowing what I want- then some "helpful' employee asks "May I help you find something?" THAT totally knocks the item out of my mind.

So I have to walk up and down every aisle -until something triggers my interest. Usually it's not the right item but, it's something I SHOULD have put on my list. You know staples like ICE CREAM. Actually I do find the correct items that way. I am more a visual person and I should just cut out pictures of what I want to buy.

My plum tree and passion vine are at the post office I asked dh if he could bring them home when he comes to pick me up. We have to see his specialist today to see what he thinks about the MRI results. And I have to get labs done for my cardiologist.
Then head to Lowe's to get the mulch and soil for the raised bed. And some tile for the wall above the counter top.
Y'all have a wonderful day.

And then the dang fool companies have "same great product, new packaging" :he:he:he:he

WHY???? I KNOW what I'm looking for, is your graphic design team bored or something?? Pepperidge Farm is changing some of their bread bags. SO important that they are including images of the great new format inside the old. And I had to look hard to see what was changing. At least with them I won't have a problem finding what I want. Still having trouble with the Nature's Path Pumpkin Raisin Crunch. DW eats that 3-4 times a week.

Sounds like a busy day @chickadoodles.

Good news on the tree and vine!

My Mom passed here tests (nuclear heart stress test) and is scheduled for spinal Stenosis decompression surgery on Friday. She can't stand up and walk do to the nerve compression. The surgery should take care of that

I love my grocery list. It shares on all of our iPhones so whoever can pick something up while out and mark it off.

:thumbsup
Understatement of the day - that will make her life SO much better!
I know!

It is very good news that she can get the nerves working again. It will take a bit or PT to get the muscles back working again though. Muscles atrophy quickly when the nerves are not getting to them
