lime, good for the lawn and so much more! Good for outhouses too. ;)
Lime is bad for the soil here--We need to use slufur because our soil has low PH from the water. That will change now though since we have switched to river water

TBH my mattress is from the 70's no joke. Every time I had the money, I used it on something else. My mother was always very fatalistic. Whenever she bought something she'd say "this is the last 'whatever,' till I die." I started saying that too. Now that I'm 70 I think a new mattress would last a lot longer than I would.

Sheets are clean but, ran out of closet space. I have a full size bed and only sleep on the out side. So stacks of clothes are usually piled up on the other side. It makes a very lumpy, crowded space.

When I was 12 I was ejected out of a pickup on the freeway. I saw old men in white robes that asked what had happened...I said there was smoke from burning tires. I do not think they really understood though. Likely died before cars were invented.

Their advice was to get out if there was a fire...I woke up on the Shoulder of I-5! I had a concussion that was not diagnosed and my Brother was unconscious and took a ride to the hospital for stitches.

I was sore for weeks after that tumble on the freeway!

But I do not want to see those un helpful old men any time soon either...And when I do I will have a serious discussion with them!

:eek:Wow Ron! I wanna say that's a great story, but 'great' feels like the wrong word. That is a very interesting story! I'm glad it didn't end worse than it did.

SCG I read that whole article & those cabbage rolls look yummy!!! :drool I always thought pigs in a blanket was sausage links rolled in pancake.

I'm a little embarrassed to say I sleep with a grown man, 3 dogs & a cat in my bed. That also makes for a lumpy crowded space.
