I've been battling carpenter bees all day. HATE THOSE #@%#!@!! creatures! You wouldn't believe the holes they chew in the wood around here. I've been on forums where they say 'oh please don't hurt the carpenter bees! They are great pollinators!' I offered to box all ours up and send them to them, and in the mean time I went back to chasing them down with a can of wasp spray and my broom and beating the dirt out of them when I'm lucky enough to knock one out of the air.

I'm ready to put them all in a big box along with the wasps and ship them to Hawaii where they can throw them all in the erupting volcano to placate Pele but she'd probably just make the whole ring of fire light up!

That's the one good reason I enjoy our usually hard winters- bugs be gone. We do in continue to have a silverfish plague but, I finish them off with a spritz of Spic and Span
in spray bottle from $ tree.

I got my echos on my neck and heart yesterday and they gave me a Rapatha shot. I've been having trouble breathing. Every little thing makes me feel like I've run the 50 yard dash.
And my doc has given me every cholesterol med he's heard of. And I have a reaction to all of them. Now he wants me to do self injections twice a month.
I have to go back in 2 weeks for another one. I told the nurse there's no way I can give myself injections. So next time dh will do it. He's given l his ani.als shots so it won't bother him.
But it sti g like a bee sting.
I go back on the 21st to get my test results.

So one month to fly from California to Alaska huh! Worse than flying with United!

I bet they don't lose any luggage though.

I told the nurse there's no way I can give myself injections.

Sure you can. DW used to have to do it twice a week with the original Enbrel starting about 16 years ago. Then once a week with the new Enbrel. Now only every other week on Humira. I give the cat insulin twice a day (when needed) and that is after checking her glucose level. You CAN do it!!

I can't tell you how many times I've hurt myself trying to get away from a needle sticking me.
I have severe anxiety when it comes to needles. Maybe after some time I can. But not now.
