Fell asleep (what a surprise) - it's 2:58 am and I am just starting to attend to what needed to be dealt with yesterday . I hate when I do that

Morning everybody.

Think I am going to live after 4 rough days. I still do not know what hit me, whether it was another Norovirus or something else. The something else being that my Buff O rooster with Ocular Mareks decided he was going to start to bite me whenever he got the chance. I think he was trying to get my attention and got mad when I didn't stop to pet him when I entered the coop, Several times he broke the skin before I could clout him a good one and send him on his way but now I'm wondering if he didn't give me a mild case of Salmonella.

I hate entering the run with a stick in my hand. This rooster has been good natured until this biting habit began. I've noticed him also biting the other roosters so it's not just me.

Wondering if Marek's can cause dementia in victims?

huh... dunno... but it does get in the neural tissue, right? Or at least ocular mareks, is right next to the brain.

Sounds logical.

Makes sense to me as well. I mean I know when I'm sick for any length of time I get crabby and feel like I'm losing my mind. Dealing with mareks might be messing with his head.

Wow so sorry Micro. I'm glad your feeling better.
Maybe try treating the flick for samonila.
I hope you rooster gets feeling better.
My rooster used to meet me at the gate to hand the treats to him to share with his girls.
So he could impress them no doubt. But he never bit me.
