The Old Folks Home

I always have a hard time fitting jeans. I'm 5'2" tall with a 30 inch inseam. Yeah, monkey arms and legs, short torso. Usually wear a size 8 but different jeans fit different. Love the stretch jeans. My legs are supper fit so jeans that fit my waist, are baggy on my legs. Better to have them fit my legs and stretch for my hips.

Busy day here. wound up with 4 broody hens. Gave them each 3 eggs tonight, marked. I'm out of nesting boxes so tomorrow I'll build some more, sigh. 3 weeks of checking for unmarked eggs, getting pecked and screeched at. One hen is so funny. Look at her and she lets out a ear splitting screech that sets off all the roosters. I don't know how such a sound can come out of a little hen, LOL.

Any rock hounds out there? DH and I moved more soil around today. One of my non chicken interests is rock hounding and while shoveling dirt from point A to point B today we found this rock. I've done internet searches and cannot find a thing that looks like this. Any body recognize the markings on this rock?

Could it be some sort of fossil?

I have always wore Jean's. I did break down and buy some out of the men's dept. So they are not right. I have several pair of cotton denim capris that I wear the most.
I used to find cotton lounge pants to wear around here. But can't find them any more.
And now most of the womens tee shirts are skin tight stretch! I hate them! So I buy mens.
Cuz I like loose fit.
These designers only think about 20 year olds for clothes!

28 days, Diva.

I also wear these (and they have stretchies in the waist):

They are great hiking pants, important that they dry quickly when one makes the choice of taking "Mist Trail" and decides to hoof it quicker instead of stopping to put a poncho on. That trail should have been renamed the SuperSoaker Trail.

I also wear them to work, they have great little pockets for keeping things in as well.
