We got a couple pieces of good news today. 1. John Deere credited us $50.00 towards the cost of the belt. They don't think the problem with it had anything to do with our machine, or the care, and maintenance of our machine, so they applied a credit. YAY!

2. Several months ago, we got a notice from our mortgage company about a $350.00 a month rate increase. I told Dh to call them, and find out why, since that seemed awfully high. He mentioned that maybe it had to do with our homeowner's insurance, since we put in a claim. Today, I pitched a hissy fit, and he showed me the notice. I told him something was very wrong. It mentioned a change in interest rates, but we have a fixed rate mortgage.

At my insistence, he called the number. Good grief, the number was not even to our mortgage company. It was to another mortgage company, posing as ours, trying to get us to refinance. I told him to google, get a phone book, or get the number to our mortgage company off the paperwork, and call them. He did. Yes, the notice is a scam that they're aware of. Yes, our mortgage is a fixed rate interest loan. No, they did not increase our monthly payments. We always pay $100.00 extra a month on our mortgage payment. With the $350.00 increase he's been paying, that's $450.00 a month extra he's been sending. To us, that's a pretty good chunk of change. That phone call put $350.00 a month back into our budget.

Scammers like to prey on us old folks. Sadly the often get to swindle people.

At least this gave you a bit of a boost in paying off the mortgage!

am up for a little wile.... Temp peaked at about 100.8... its back down to 98. Kept dreaming about a fish in my aquarium making an eeeee noise.... eeee.... eeee.... Tried to finish my dream out then started looking for the bathroom.... Eeee .... eee .... eee.. kept following me around...

Then I woke up... Had to pee and my lungs were going Eeee .... eeee... eeee on every exhale.... I tried to giggle but coughing took over. Whipped the mask off and went to the bath room. Came back Took a puffer treatment for my asthma.... coughed productively took a big swig off my water jug put my mask on again and went right out again....

Kept dreaming about a chicken going Eeee... eeee... chased her down and put her back in with the rooster then he started going eeee....eeee....eee.... they all fluffed their feathers and went scratching in the dirt.... Woke up... had to Pee....

And so my night went.... except the one time I got up and came in to take my temperature...

This is the way it is for me when i have had colds. with one exception.... Went right out again....

This is good very good.

Back to the puffer and bed... be up at eight to make grandmas breakfast. and then back for some real sleep.... Um er hopefully uninterupted by people sleep.

deb, glad you were able to get back to sleep. Have you called your doctor yet? Please do. Oh, be sure to clean out your CPAP machine, since you don't want it reinfecting you.

the clinic we go to has same day appointments. You do not always see your primary Dr. though but often see a PA instead.

My primary is actually a PA.... There is only one doctor maybe two that resides in the whole clinic... I love my PA......

The cold is ramping down. Actually its behaved like most colds I get without the Bipap machine. And usually the main issue is getting the albuterol. But my PA agreed to have it on hand for when I do have a cold. Without Albuterol I have had colds ramp up to Bronchitis then vacilate between getting well and being sick again. But With Albuterol I can cough and deal with the ikky stuff...

So now with the Bipap and albuterol.... Best I b elieve that can be done.

And Yes I will clean everything out.

Deb I am so happy your still with us a cold seems pretty mild, remember what you
have survived and many today do please be watchful of your health or changes in it would like to keep you around a long while

The wasp ca.e back and ran to get the spray. But it was gone by the 2 seconds it took me to get back! But its waiting on him to come back... I'll drown him in it.

Time to start packing Chicka, have to be armed when you first see it.
