The Old Folks Home

No he's not allergic to fur but I'd prefer he think that we at least try not to live like slobs
When we had the long haired cat, there was a lot of fur shedde. The fridge coils were clogged very quickly--Make sure to check them

Well gosh darn. Our A/C went out this morning. Having someone come to look at it. Hopefully they'll get it fixed soon. The kids are all staying cool in the pool. Dh is trying to sleep, so he can work tonight. It has rained every day for over 2 weeks. Now that I need it to rain to cool things off, there's not a cloud in sight. Murphy's law strikes again!
I am sorry that the AC went out!

Movies and malls are good places to go when it is hot and the AC is on the fritz--Library too of course

In our home fur is a fashion statement as well as a condiment. I can dust mop up a wad of hair big enough to make another cat and by the end of the day there are dust bunnies running for their lives all over the house. I keep threatening to shave all the animals bald and be done with it.

I'm hoping the rain that moved through will give us one more cloud burst. We got 2.9 inches here this morning. I set my stock tank up to catch rain water for me, went out to check it and discovered that the drain faucet was in the open position. I had forgotten to check it last night.:hitSo while everything is filled to overflowing my stock tank had about 4 inches of water in it.

Come on, mother nature, give me one more inch of rain!

We just now got the radio antenna back up and in place. Only took 45 minutes of swearing and sweating to get the job done. Now I'm hoping it works. One of the members of our HAM radio club lost two expensive radios to a lightening strike. He said he had his antennas unplugged which you are supposed to do but we are wondering if he had them on surge protectors. Sad. Those radios are not cheap. People pay anywhere from 800$ up for them. We are cheap and build our own. More fun that way.
Did you ground the antenna?

My Dad unplugged the antennas from the radios during lightening storms

I finally finished the pendant I was promising my son for His Birthday when I found out I had cancer I quit doing much...
