The Old Folks Home

I know they have gotten smarter mine keeps telling must turn location on but really
do not care for it saying will you rate this place or pinpoint where you are that makes me cringe
I always decline. If it's because of prices on say home depot, lowe's, TSC, etc, I put the zipcode in myself to select store.

It's Alive!

The overnight sponge blew up the plastic wrap like a balloon!

The Olive bread is mixing in the kitchen aid now

We are both sitting here in our little computer room drinking our coffee
rooster crowing out the window
I am drinking coffee and making the weekly menu and shopping list. A load of laundry is in the washing machine.

My Oldest DD is coming for BBQ Today so I need to get ready!

Ron I never realized what a baker you are. I have a cloche, and should get it out. It's the rising time then baking that gets me stuck - work just gets in my way :hmm

I loved Portugal, we stayed near Sintra and would go into the old medieval part of town and sit at a cafe. Fresh baked rolls, a little round local soft cheese, olives, and a glass of wine. One place had strings of sausages hanging on the wall, they would take them down, whack a few pieces off, and grill it in the shop on a little ceramic brazier. Heaven.

Mornin Old Folks..... and NEW Old folks. :frow

Sipping my four shots of espresso with a little bit of lavender essence added.... My idea of heaven in the morning.

I was up to four am after the dog came and got me at three. She was sooo funny she comes in the hall and stares at me to see if I am a wake. I sleep with the TV on a dvd. I said" What you doing out there" she hopped up and down and ran out of view. She came back further in the room. "I see you" She jumped up and turned around in mid air and ran out of the room. She came in as far as me seeing the top of her head about at my knee. "Do you want to go out" She about killed her self turning and leaping out of the room.

Mind you shes a sixty five pound dog about the size of a Lab Long haired they say there is some Swiss Mountain dog in there. She had never said a word not a hum or chuff...We are still figuring her out. So I got up and staggered in the dining room Turned on the lite and she was pressed up against the glass nose first Wagging her tail... I let her out and went back on the computer to do a couple of puzzle games.

About an hour later a big paw gives a tiny tap at the door. I let her in and she disappeared into the other room like a black brown and white smoke ghost. I said good night as the tip of her tail disappeared in the living room. She sleeps on the couch or various parts of the floor. And we have NEVER been able to get her to go outside during the day.... EVER. Unless she on a leash for a walk.
