During the fire storm of 03 we were evacuated twice.... once from grandmas house we went to moms house.... then from moms house we went back to grandmas because they got it out there.

This year its Hotter and Much drier.... Though the SantaAnna winds have started they are only just moderate.... Those winds blow during fire season all bets are off.

I understand and fire is the only thing we would be in danger of where our place sits
that said it would have to be devastatingly awful to reach us jumping many roads I would never say it couldn't

Oh we are bustin out the records.... The ONLY place I have experienced 117 degrees has been around Baker.... Except for now...

For those who dont know Baker is in Death Valley. along the way to Vegas...

Last time I was there the thermometer was at 120
