We love ALDI. :love Great prices on great products.
They are not a huge store but carry a nice variety of things that are not name brand but good quality. Their organic and gluten free offerings have increased. The closest one to us is 25 minutes...but just about everything is that far away!
There are some products they only carry seasonally which is disappointing when you try something you really like and then can't get it.
Have a great day OFs!

Like Costco. Only sell crescent rolls around Thanksgiving and Christmas. Like no one eats them any other time of year? They could have changed though, we don't buy them anymore since we found out DD1 is gluten intolerant some years ago so I don't look for them.

We have Aldis in Michigan too, I have not been to one but a friend of mine loves them, says their prices are very good. The closest one to me is around 50 miles away, but next time we go to town I'd like to stop in there.

Microchick I am sorry to hear about your Heeler. I have an 11 year old with inherited deafness and now Progressive Retinal Atrophy, so she is now both blind and deaf (and very frustrated). So sad that such a vital, active breed has such poor genetics.

I know someone that was denied disability twice. She heard on the radio a disability lawyer that represents you and don't have to pay until if and when you win. It took another yr, found out she had to quit working, she was just working part time off and on that last few yrs lawyer said that she couldn't do that shows she had the ability to work. She ended up getting it and back pay from when she first was denied like $60 some thousand lump sum.
Long story but she didn't deserve it. I know young people on ssi that shouldn't be, and older people that should be but don't.

We have a Aldi's about a half hr away, go there often.
They are a German company, but IMHO more U.S. patriotic than US companies, they observe all our holidays, workers have all holidays off. They also pay a lot better than anywhere else in that business.
You have to buy your own bags and bag your own, but we've found it much easier to just take the cart back to our vehicle and fill up plastic totes, carry the totes in the house when we get home.
