Alaskan secretly dump food in the boat and the bears will take care of it for you. Hey, it's Alaska where the wild things are.

I left feed in my car while I was gone. .. I have done that before without trouble... and I have feed in all of the coops with zero problems...

bear chewed up my bumper while I was gone. Spouse was appalled ... but it was no biggie... a little duct tape got it fixed right back up. (it was just a little black bear)

Ditch the boat in the barn really might be tall enough don't need the ladder

That wouldn't work either. Grandpa can barely park it where he parks it... he couldn't get it further back... and I need that barn space. The drive through part of the barn is only driven in to unload hay.... the rest of the time it is open as a hallway/service area/ and sheltered loafing spot for the goats.

I did not have major problems in Juneau either a few came down to scope out after we built but the fences where pretty bear proof on purpose

but luckily I don't get those.

people who have the browns need to use electric fencing to keep them away from livestock.

An improprerly installed electric fence causet the Yolo County fire here. The person has been sited and may have to pay for the fire effort. I have heard of million dollar fines.
