I think my stomach is better this morning. I've been able too keep down a few crackers and some gator aid so far.

Ron wasn't it Walt on one of the heritage threads that had a problem with mareks?
And he kept the one that built up an immunity to it.

There was someone but I don't think it was Walt. It seems to be the best way to go since mareks is everywhere

I let my chickens and Turkey range together. And Chris got into Black Spanish Turkey for his Buckeye.
I got chickens and Turkey at the same time and brooded them together. Even though DH said chickens had never been on this farm. But I knew wild Turkey had been.

I have decided not to get chickens again. I've stayed sick so much of this year that it would be to much on dh to care for them. And in a couple years we are hoping to travel. And they would keep us tied to the farm.

Hard decision, I know. But you have to do what is best for you and your DH.

We need to set up some sort of 'virtual' flock for members of the forum that are chickenless. I'm sure somebody could figure out how to do that.

Thats a sweet idea. I love looking at the pics of my flock.

I have seen that kind of then for Eagles. The Eagle cam is down but did find a pigeon cam

There is a new fire and it is near the city where my Mom is staying with my Sister as she recovers from back surgery. She is on the other side of Redding and is fine so far. Very Scary!
