Nope no logging wench. We cut the logs into 10 foot lengths, attach log chains and chugga chugga. We can usually move two foot thick logs 18+ feet without difficulty. Definitely the little tractor that could.
We then chain the logs into 16-18 inch rounds, load them into the bucket and transport to the splitter.
So what kind of tractor did you wind up getting. You DID get 4 wheel drive I hope.
@CapricornFarm. Yeah, I was ready for some good news. I'm probably going to loose my little hen that I wrote about yesterday. Not sure what's going on with her. I poked and prodded around on her tonight and felt a marble sized lump between her pubic bone and keel bone. So
@ronott1, your prediction of reproductive cancer is probably right on. I noticed tonight that she hadn't eaten so she is definitely under the microscope at the moment. If she isn't eating by tomorrow I will probably euthanize. I noticed tonight that she feels a bit thin.
