The Old Folks Home

Something as large as a Bloodhound would probably be geriatric at 6 . . . so at that point, it can't hear you, anyway.:th

Well to be quite honest it pretends it doesn't hear me now, so I probably won't notice a difference. And yes, bloodhound average age at death is only 7. Lots of bloat and cancer. The bad little thing (who peed on one of the remaining non chewed bathroom rugs last night right after I went to bed) is currently snoring loudly on the couch. It's a hot, sticky, misty rain day and we've already been out for one walk to try and wear her out.

Took the button up shirts that BF's mom gave me and made the pillows she was asking for this morning.

Going to try and get the last border on my fall quilt today.

I like the pillows

Took the dog for another walk today this time when the rain cleared in the afternoon. Went looking for 2 lost graveyards that my town has record of but no one from the town has been there. First one we found behind the school bus depot in thigh high poison ivy. The stones weren't in terrible shape. One gopher hole I need to plug. The fence was practically missing.
The second was going to be much harder to find. The last record of it is mid 70s where the directions stated to go from Ian McClennan property west through deep woods almost to the river. Got property records and found the new landowner. Have scoured Google satellite images to no avail. Last records stated it was in bad shape due to logging so I'm guessing it isn't there anymore. Drove out to their property to ask permission to walk back there and found cones across the end of the driveway, 2 loose rottweilers and a no tresspassing sign. Ripley and I passed and I'll write them a USPS letter.
Came home showered the poison ivy off and finished the borders on my fall quilt.
Can anyone spot my big mistake?

No! What mistake??

By the way... cool effect with the leaves changing colors and falling off like that.
