Morning everyone.

We finally got almost 2 inches of rain overnight. The storm that dumped it on us was pretty intense. Lots of lightening and the thunder sounded as though the lightening was right on top of us. I haven't heard thunder like that in ages. I think it eased of around 1:30 AM or 2 and I was finally able to get to sleep. The two youngest dogs piled into bed with us from the excitement, DH slept through most of it he said. But at least we didn't get any wind with it which was strange given it's intensity.but good there was no wind damage.

I think there is more rain on the way today. No complaints. We need it.

SGC, Love the pillows. You always do good work. I just got two yards of cream colored cotton blend material to use as background on the quilt squares I want to embroider. The transfers I bought are enough for two styles. One a 'farm' style quilt with tractors, farm animals, barns, etc. The other is Celtic with Celtic designs. I though cream colored, rougher weave material would give the quilt more of a 'rustic' pioneer feel than the usual bleached white cotton.

It's my winter project. Added to a growing list of projects

Ok everyone. What do you see? Fertile, or not fertile?
