The Old Folks Home

No Tolbunt pullet this morning so i guess something snatched her.:hit
:( Sorry to hear that.
scg, gmta (great minds think alike). I just finished my shower. Raked out all the coops, took a broom to cobwebs, scrubbed out the water buckets, and feeders. Tomorrow I want to spray the coop, and dust the chickens. Actually, I want to extend my spraying to all the dry areas around the coop too. First for ants, secondly to help keep the mosquitoes at bay. Due to all the rains we've had, the mosquitoes are horrible. I like to dust the chickens very lightly, especially around their combs, wattles, and legs. The feathers seem to protect them in all the other areas.
We had terrible mosquitoes earlier this summer. I could hardly step out the door without a dozen of them biting me or flying up my nose. Then it got hot and dry and they went away.
