Hey Diva We use my cane to get stuff from upper shelves BF is 5'11 but some are so high he needs it

Canned a lot (halves, jams and sauces), gave away a lot (friends, neighbors, senior center), and -- recently bought a freezer -- froze a lot of them all pitted and smushed for smoothies. Seriously, in dealing with offing them, peaches became the new zucchini.

I remember one summer living next to a truck farm. They had planted rasberries behind my house, and mowed them early in the summer to get a fall crop. The farmer stopped by one day and said to help myself to as many berries as I wanted since they were not picking them that year. I made so many batches of jam - I do believe people were avoiding me and my jam jars. But it was so hard to just let them go.

Well I just filled the hummingbird feeders and suddenly they are all gone. Vanished, *poof*. Up to 25 or more at a time fighting over the feeders to suddenly zero.

Wish the little turds would give us a warning before they head south. I hate wasting sugar.

So the Robins are gone, the Jenny Wrens are gone and except for a few stragglers, the Hummers are gone till next spring. That means....winter is around the corner

I have been dreading the hummers leaving for the season. Miss them when they go.

We have the drizzle back that is how we tell it is fall winter not far off got my

I still have some vertigo from Labor Day 2017. Nowhere near as badly but, when I lay back on the bed, I get some. Or If I switch sides I am laying on. OR if I look high up trying to see stuff on grocery shelves. Apparently other places do that too to penalize height challenged folks. The shorter you are the higher they put what you need.

Of course no workers come by when I am jumping up and down trying to reach something. But the other customers enjoy my antics.

Have you checked into the ear crystal thing? Sounds like maybe you have one or more running around loose.

That cracked me up Bruce. I probably have more than a crystal running around loose, maybe a few bats as well. I've had the maneuver done several times this is as good as it gets.
