Bunny, how scary! Too bad AL couldn't take some of that new firewood off of your hands, then it'd be a win-win!

That is what I was thinking! Firewood!

But squished people, animals and housing are bad. How bad is the house corner? And your outbuildings?

Have the equines learned to swim?

The ones on the trampoline, and corner of the house appear to be a type of pine, so probably not good as firewood either.

thought I broke my big toe this afternoon had part of old pvc feeder fall off the top shelf in the barn hit my left big toe pain intense limped in the house BF looked said I think you broke it 4 hours or 5 later not broke just mad as he double ll but think I can get a shoe on now

All I have up here to burn is spruce... can't be worse than that.

pine is good to burn smell good also

Pine will burn just like other wood, just not as hot, not for as long, and creates more creosote to line the flue and chimney. Pine also tends to have knots and moisture that causes it to "pop" and throw sparks and embers out.

You might want to ice it to help decrease swelling. Sorry you got hurt! Hugs.
