I'm on JoAnn's mailing list - easy peasy. When they had a 50% off coupon, I would get a white or black visor hat(?) then "spot it in black or white," for Cow Day. Had them ready and then of course none of the bus people showed up at Chick Fil A.

LOL>... Diving in the dumpster behind carpet installers is another go to. Especially i f you are building Cat trees. Not only can you get enough new carpet to do the job But sometimes there are those heavy rolls of cardboard used in cat tree making.... waste not want not.

I had an aunt that carpeted her back yard..... SMH But it was cheerful and weed free she vacuumed it with a shop vac occasionally.

My parents had several layers of carpet in their garage. Of course it was a mess we had to clean up once Dad passed away.

I never much cared for spam, though I love ham/pork and that's what it's made of... They even had a commercial saying so. Maybe the seasoning/preservatives they use in it? or the percentage of tendon/ligament, or the gelatinous fat they use to hold it together? Not really sure, but it just tastes a bit "off" to me. My oldest daughter used to love it fried when she was a kid, now she doesn't like it either... I haven't had it in many decades... maybe I should pick up a can next shopping trip and give it another try. Worst case, I know the dogs will love it with their dry food. I guess it's the "state food" in Hawaii... I've heard south pacific islanders love it as well.

So the powerball is now at 1/2 what the MM was when it was won. Wonder if it's going to break a billion as well? Guess it probably will if there's no winner this coming Saturday draw (750 mil). As a late great once famous individual said... "I have a dream!" Of course I also have just about zero luck, so I'm pretty sure a dream it will remain.

Day after hump day here. Didn't sleep well last night. Ended up in my recliner about 3am. So finally put the foot rest down about 9:30am. Thought it was earlier cause it's gray, misty, damp, wet, cool and generally just a "stay in bed and nap all day" kinda day. Ah well... have my morning tea and guess I'll head back to the recliner. Not going to work outside in this weather. Something I once read about power tools and wet everything...

Try homemade sometime. People that won't touch regular bologna or even the thought of it love my homemade venison bologna.

That is what spouse and the kids said... they bought me a fancy version of bologna.

But nope.. just don't like the pureed meat then stuck in a casing.

That is why I like salami, it isn't as finely ground as bologna.

So nope on the spam too.

BUT I do like a really good pate. That is as finely ground as you can get!

Guess I am just odd.

Only Bologna I eat is all beef hate the chicken/pork same as hotdogs only beef
only way I do spam is fried on a sandwich have had it in eggs can stomach it but and now it is favored yuppy food so doubled if not tripled in price

I've been having that too. I'm tired, bloodshot reading eye and stiff neck from being on BYC so much via computer. Start to fall asleep and then ruminate over things that didn't go right during the day.
