The Old Folks Home

.At our store ,early on I brought in a coupon from Michael's the clerk was about to take it (they take competitor cpns.) then the manager said " NO first call Michael's to see if they have the identical item. " I mumbled OH for Goodness sake. And gave her a stink eye. Then the manager let me use it.

I can say conversely when I am at Michael's and give them a Jo Ann cpn. they never give it a second look - they just take it.

That's a beautiful runner SCG. I'm sure your sis will love it.

My son is here for a few days to help me out. Today went and picked up 12 bags of goat feed/pellets and a dozen small squares of hay. All nicely stored away in the out building. Finally had a sunny day today but it's a bog out in the pasture after all the rain we've had. Temp has dropped along with the clearing and we're supposed to have out first freeze/hard frost tonight into the morning. Next few nights are supposed to warm a bit then back to quite cold again.
I hope you can get a lot done!

Perchie is happy (ish) there guys. There's a place for everyone and everything.

Snowing here this morning. Woke up and looked out and thought the moon was full because the ground appeared lit up. Nope just white. Was supposed to send the roosters to camp but will have to wait yet another day.

Weekend plans?

YEP happy as I could be... Been in San Diego more than fifty years now, Native Californian Too.

My land is paid for... just waiting for me to come back.. When I do I will be like Cap... building stuff all the time.... doing jewelry raising chickens and a few goats socializing in town on occasion...

Oh I raise my antenna occasionally with a wistful look at other peoples lives... But its really too late for me to change alot.

By the Way That table runner is awesome... I am so glad you got a long arm machine... I missed when you decided but I am glad you did it.
