The Old Folks Home

It was very windy overnight and woke up this morning to 3 in of snow. 27 degrees. My plans other than chores are all indoor jobs.

I get my Joann's coupons in the mail, a half page size booklet with coupons for the next two weeks. I prefer not to get any more emails than I I already get, sometimes my inbox is overwhelming.

And it gets dark at 4:30 in the afternoon. Not as bad as Alaska I know, but still.

Woke up to 12 degrees his morning. Opening day for deer hunting here. Slept through it. Too danged cold to sit out in the woods. Not even hearing any rifle shots.

@Perchiegirl I was hoping you would check in and was worrying about how you were handling the wild fire situation. Stay safe guys.

Yes. Home is where you hang your heart. DH and I have spent the majority of our lives in the Midwest. Doubt if we could be content anywhere else. Love the change of seasons. Of course we have the extreme weather, cold and hot. Blizzards and tornados to contend with along with the New Madrid fault but it's home.

DH is still working on my computer so imI on my tablet. Please forgive any tyos and have a great Saturday!
