The Old Folks Home

Nah... not on an outside wall.

;)

Gotta plan that stuff ya know.
Yeah but you would have to have SOME heat in the house, outside wall or not.
It is amazing the number of people who put plumbing in / on outside walls in cold regions. Might be warm enough in the kitchen but open those outside wall cabinets and BRRRRRRRR.

I think I waited a bit too long to do the roosters.
Or not long enough, maybe it is going to warm up just a bit in a few days?

I process in the kitchen. Outside weather is not a factor LOL!
Likely not a factor outside for you anyway! Except maybe if you are processing in July or August.

Cut down another tree today. Could have used an experienced logging wench to help with the limbing and dragging the brush back into the woods ;)

I'll bring my best friend, she and I used to log in the woods with her Dad. Do you need us to bring the team and logging chains?

Channeling Al here this morning. I think I waited a bit too long to do the roosters.

The first one froze to the table. My can of Lysol wipes froze solid. The leg rope froze together after it got wet scalding the first one. Had to start a fire in the basement wood stove so that I could thaw things between roosters.

Two left to go, a showgirl and a silkie. I hate doing those. They're so cute.

Inside thawing myself, now.

Never a fun chore, twice as bad when things go wrong.

Yes, July and august are bad...and often may and June.

The best part is the stove for boiling water
