The Old Folks Home

Well little Snow is still with me. She is eating well but her posture caught my attention today so I gloved and KY jellied up and had her put her little feet in the stirrups.

Felt an egg way up. Normal size for her. Probably egg gland level. Brought her in and she had a spa treatment with me popping calcium down her just in case. Not sure if that is the problem but I'm trying to hit all bases here.

She is still standing all fluffed up with her head drawn down but is alert. I switched the terramycin to corid in the water....just in case.
Gaaaah:barnieI'm covering a lot of just in cases here with this little hen and I'm running out of options. The appetite and droopy wings along with fluffed feathers equals worm load to me/coccidiosis. poo is normal....But...there are a lot of buts to consider.

Sorry, rambling and thinking through my fingers. As always any ideas appreciated.

Ron, this might be too personal, but what kind of leave do you have to take when you can't work on account of the air quality?
They are giving us paid leave. We are supposed to fill out the online time sheet as though we worked. This is the first time this type of thing has happened here in the 23 years I have worked here.
