First time I made no-knead crusty bread it called for using a enameled cast iron dutch oven, didn't have one so used a metal porcelain roasting pan with lid. Worked but think it was too hot though being they are thin.
Then I tried the insert of a big crock pot, worked also BUT melted the plasic handle Lol.
Oldest DD bought me the cheaper 5qt Ozark trail plain cast iron dutch oven from Wal-Mart, $18. Works great and doesn't stick at all. I just make sure to clean with just hot water and re-apply a thin film of oil after use. And sprinkle a layer of corn meal in it before baking.
No power loss yet! So happy about that.Scg sorry about your Hands hurting.
Bruce sorry about your thumbs.
Ron your kittens are adorable!
Hi Perchie.
Cap that's a lot of snow. I hope you did not lose power.
warm and fuzzie but I am saying Goodnight to all
Awww Ron, I want to snuggle them!
I'm not sure she really knows what's going on. She did go with us to cut our own Xmas tree, and I can tell you she would have stayed there all day, opening her own kissing booth and chasing children (and adults) if we'd have let her.
Good Idea!I got the booster shots at TSC. Much cheaper that way. Just inject them myself.
