The Old Folks Home

Women have parts that stay where they belong.
Until we age.

Love the fuzzy flowers, too! That is great that you're helping her, what nice memories.

I finished the 5 quilt tops for the NICU - 4 are just the scrap from my star quilt and the other is scrap from various projects, but I made the nephew make that top when he was here last.

Hopefully she has a ride home from work, or will you make it back in time?
Got back a bit before 4. DW's PO closes at 1 on Saturday, she left at 4 to get DD2. Don't know if DD2 will be waiting. When I dropped her off I told her she best be thinking 4:30 (she's been hanging around with the Peruvian BF 'til 5:30 most days) and she told me DW was going to pick her up. Said they talked about it this morning. I ASSUMED that meant they had a plan. Seems like not, DW said they didn't talk about time. :he

Duh just realized a big flaw in my men's warming thingie. It needs two loops to hold it on to more stationary parts. Oh darn they are affected by cold also. Back to the drawing board.:he
:gig
Keep working at it DD!

but I made the nephew make that top when he was here last.
:thumbsup
How are BF's family members doing? Haven't heard since the niece was in the hospital.

As of right now everything is okay. The niece is feeling better, the sister got kicked out of the homeless shelter but ended up getting HUD housing last weekend, very bad neighborhood but at least a place of her own.

BF's mom has my little gimpy showgirl that I hatched last summer, and then she took one of my banties to be its friend (the banty I put with it when we got the chicken back when niece was in the hospital) and the gimpy one is broody now. Gave her 4 eggs to put under it today. She got to experience the wonder of broody poo.

I need banty eggs to hatch, all my banties are at BF mom's house.

SGC having worked in a newborn nursery I can say those quilts are just perfect! So bright and cheerful. Good job! I did see the goat material on Joann's site two days ago. Ordered more of the 'life on the farm' material for my quilt. Did some re-ciphering and discovered that I would only need 13 embroidered squares. I'm working on #6 now so almost but not quite half way there! Yay! Figured I would make it reversible so I could turn the embroidered side down so the cats wouldn't ruin it when they decided to nap on the bed in the sun. I saw a couple of different fabrics that I really liked and have on my short list. Since the finished size is going to be larger than a standard king, I foresee a lot of stitching in my future!

Thanks for the chuckle, @CapricornFarm and @drumstick diva. Dang that gravity anyway!

Spent time today working on the Marek's article that I've been urged to write. Nambroth has nothing to worry about as my article is written concerning my own history with dealing with the disease with as much humor as I can muster interjected into what could be a pretty gloomy subject.
