bruce, it's GOOD Florida soil too. That has been a hot button topic between me, and Dh for years. He's from Indiana, where the soil is totally different. His ideas about good soil, are fine for up there maybe. Some of the locals have since schooled him about our soil, so he's doing much better.

me too murphy says she will have done this a few time with the silky never tried
it with my big girls but then they never been broody but one I took to auction

Everybody is in the pool but me. The water is 82 degrees. It's a bit on the chilly side for me, but the kids are fine with it. They won't be in for over an hour, then they get cold, but it sure helps them burn off the energy. At bedtime, 2 minutes after their heads hit the pillow, they're out.

Just finished hatching 29 chicks....so I do the most logical thing. I put another 49 eggs in the ' bator.

At present I have 107 chicks total. When is it too many?
