The Old Folks Home

I used to get scared of 'scary movies' when I was younger. Now I love them and DH and I usually have running critiques while we are watching, like "Why don't they have at least a shotgun with them? Heck, 'round here everybody has a shotty in the the back window of their truck! They'd have it out and be blastin zombies in record time!" and "Are these people just stupid? Half way through the movie and they still screaming at the monster and not taking cover and thinking up a plan?"

We have more fun doing that than watching the movie! LOL.

Well, pulled my two eggs and opened them. Looks like the embryos died around day 16-18. My girls usually hatch eggs on day 19, 20 at the latest. Embryos looked normal. no smell of infection. Can only guess that when the hen got off the nest and got confused as to which nest was hers, the eggs chilled enough to kill the babies even though it was fairly warm outside. That or there was a temp spike. More hot weather moving in. I have a fan on the hens but who knows. May wind up with a bunch of unhappy hens.

I watched part of Season 1, Episode 1, and turned it off. That creepy little girl scene upset/scared me too much!

Awww you gotta watch the rest!!! I HATE scary stuff, terrified of it all, and I don’t think the show is that scary. And that girl ends up being their friend and being really nice haha

Hahaha I love doing that!! But I usually don’t watch horror movies but I sometimes watch the parody versions of horror movies or the really stupid sci fi films and do it haha or heck, I even do it during just police/detective/crime shows. My biggest thing is when all these people hear a noise and then run TOWARDS it!!! Or go OUTSIDE or in the BASEMENT to check on it!! Like come on!? Haven’t you learned anything!? Haha

Even if I critique the gullible protagonists in a scary movie, the suspense gets me every time. My whole body feels it. The music (especially), the lighting, the terrifying wait for the inevitable.

The dumb moves the victims make just p*ss me off. While I’m scared.

Hahahaha same!!! I’m always like “that was so stupid!!” Or “don’t go that way!!! Ohhhh... no... told you. Idiot.” Or “why are you going TOWARDS the noise!?”
