I guess everyone has heat advisories today. Just came in from topping up the waterers, time to put the watermelon in the fridge.

Yep, got one here too. Even got an email from the power company that said they are going to "manage my device" between 5 and 9 PM. The "device" is an EV charging station they gave me free as long as I agree to let them "Manage" it when there are high electricity use periods. I guess a lot of people will be coming home and turning on the A/C. I wonder if that is really the way it works though, many if not most probably have the A/C on all day so the house doesn't heat up while they are gone.

I actually use the 110V charging cord that came with the car unless I need to go somewhere before the slow charge can do its thing. And I try to charge it during the day when my solar panels are creating more power than we are using.

Hey Penny, how are you today? I am doing ok, feeling lazy though. I should go buy some groceries. Went out and watered, but came back in asap. Luckily the chicken coops are all in the shade.

Doing pretty good here nothing lidocaine can't take thanks for asking mild 72 but no rain for at least a week they are claiming

It must be close to a month since we had rain. Other than the odd sprinkle.
