We have a wet June into July they say we are in drought ummm ?

We had a major downpour yesterday, just before the lawn guys got to MY house. I thought they'd wait it out in their truck but apparently not. Now with heat & all that rain, grass will be taller and cost more. All I can say is fuzzy wazzy bubba !Don't quote me on that.

Just whacked my temple on the corner of the shutter than sticks out the front of the chicken coop. Sigh. I need to put fluorescent tape on them. They are very heavy shutters, I built them myself.
None of the chickens seem to be suffering the heat from what I have seen so far. And they are still laying well.

I did not have a bite that I know of in that spot. Hoping I don't take after my Dad, he was always whacking his bald head on something.

Loved my Dad dearly but he was a klutz stood on a upside down bucket waffle type soles they got hooked on lip on the bottom well had a big level in his hand he beat it to the floor it cracked his head open a bit guess who got to sew it up one time he was using a drill press got his hand a bit close drilled his thumb clean through , one guess who had to back the drill out and pack it it is wonder I am so demented

Cap, be careful. Whacking your temple hurts like heck. Yes put reflective tape, especially cover the corners.

My Dad chopped off the end of 2 fingers when he was working at a camera factory. They put merthiolate on it!

My came over today. She brought me an aloe plant, and some odd, and end kid items her grands left at her place. There were quite a few Barbie clothes, so the girls were happy. We did lunch.

It's pouring out, now. So far this year, we've gotten adequate rain, but nothing like last year, which is good.
