Had an appointment with the car oil change 10:30 am so we got there also has asked for specific time as the blower motor only works on 4 this is our new no miles kia soul what brought my ire up okay sit there 1 and 1/2 hour not a peep I finally asked a gal hey do we know anything yet guy that checked us in pops back in oh yes we need to order the part but the oil change is done :fl:heand how long have we been sitting here

You do have to wonder. My car went in for its 5,000 mile service. Basically oil and filter change, tire rotation. Took over an hour from my 2:15 scheduled time. Guess that is one reason I do it myself once a car is out of warranty. I can do it just as fast and I don't have take the time to drive to the dealer. I also don't charge myself $95/hour.

That reminds me, I should check the tire pressures tomorrow. Never know if they do it or not.

Let the girls outside today. They pecked around then found themselves, utterly fascinated, on the outside of their run. They went up close, peered in, and hung out up close to the HW cloth. Silly girls! They had the whole yard to play in!

I heard a hawk or kestrel - not sure which makes that call. I looked up and could see a large bird high in a tree. I got two chickies inside but the Buffys ran the other way. Finally I cornered them in a little space between the coop and run and blocked them inside there with a bucket. They seemed to like it in there. Eventually there was no raptor to be seen or heard, so I sprinkled a little trail of scratch and gathered them inside.

They do love their outside adventures!
