The Old Folks Home

I simply couldnt catch up... :frow everyone... Hope everyone is well...

My synopsis... B vitamins are working I think... walking more steady a bit more energy... :wee

We go to the Lawyer tomorrow to discuss the Trust and what we need to do next...

My Car is still in the shop.... Blown head gasket... they are rebuilding it. Cheaper than buying another car.... Sucks not being able to even go to the grocery store. Am getting caught up on sleep though... LOL.

Brandy the doggo.... is Hilarious... Yesterday I found her Big knuckle bones (Dried and with yummy bits).... Arranged on the floor in a very neat line... Oh and a bit of other things... Cup of noodles cup... Small knuckle Large Knuckle medium Bone Large bone.... And Rawhide bone.... The first was not like the others.... The last was not like a real bone.

IF she gets into the trash she very neatly takes it into the living room and "Cleans it"... Cup of noodles Washed. Occasional Wrapper off hamburger... Washed and very neatly Ripped so she could get both sides... We Started putting Immediately enticing trash bits on the kitchen counter till we can take out the trash...

No more Dumpster diving for my girl....

@Chick-N-Fun I have to admit I have an 'oldtimer's moment' whenever I see your avatar. I literally go 'huh? I don't remember responding on that thread! Am I sleep typing?' Then I remember that I changed my avatar and breathe a sigh of relief!

:frow@perchiegirl We have dogs like that. Our two oldest used to raid the trash no matter how well we tried to keep it out of their reach and fish out discarded cans to 'clean out'. Now all I do when I open up a can of something is yell "PREWASH!" and they both come charging to see what delicious offering I have for them.

Picking up a well cleaned out can beats picking up strewn out garbage.

One of my favorite cartoons. I've seen the cattle dog pups do this if I forget to close the dishwasher door.

I actually had this one hanging by my desk at our office. Always gave people a laugh because their dogs did the same thing.

Morning everyone. Worked outside yesterday as it didn't even hit 70 yesterday. Strange weather for August here but I just checked the weather and they are predicting temps back in the 80s by the end of the week.

We had to pull out two forsythia bushes in order to make room for the brick walkwy we are creating off the steps to our deck. Then DH had to haul up dirt from the timber to fill the holes and build up the ramp. I woke up this morning and as the saying goes, what don't hurt, don't work.

It's raining today so I'll forgo the outside chores and work inside. My joints will appreciate the day off.

Cap who will get the Spiderman quilt?
Wedding quilt for son and DIL.

Bought hay today and hubby threw it up in the loft, I stacked it. Much easier than when we used to get trailer loads for the goats in TN.
And I bought flat rocks for my garden path, I have been wanting since we moved here. Got about 1/4 of what I am going to need, $100. 330 pounds of it.

That is amazing. Wish the people in my house were so organized.

I've never heard of a dog doing that! Guess I've left a sheltered life.
