Making progress on the whole healthy eating and willpower thing. Sort of. Not very much but getting there.
Forgot to eat for a couple hours after I got home so was gonna just have a PB&J since it’s fast but decided to have tuna since we have tons of it currently and it’s just as fast if not faster.
Then I decided to only have one can instead of two like usual. One was more than enough.
And then I decided to just eat it straight out of the bowl and not make it a sandwich like I was planning. Put the bread back. Just had tuna. No bread or chips or crackers but or anything. Well, couple chips after to scoop up the extra tuna, but barely any. And did put mayo in it but tried at least.
But anyway, the real willpower thing comes in when a while after all that I decided I wanted a snack and wanted just a little bit of jelly. Was gonna make toast with jelly on it.
But I remembered we had frozen fruit and decided to be good and eat that instead with some honey.
We didn’t have any whipped cream and the cool whip was frozen (plus I hate it anyway) so just put honey on it instead which is probably better anyway. And only used a little bit of honey. Didn’t overdo it like usual.
I know it sounds stupid but I’m kinda proud because I really wanted something sweet and usually would have said ah screw it and just had the bread and the jelly.

and earlier I did have a chocolate cupcake.

but I controlled myself this time and ate the fruit instead of jelly. I don’t know if it is much healthier or less sugary but at least it is real fruit and real raw/local honey.
