Yep that "cross border" shipping is expensive. Someone went into DW's PO wanting to ship something to Canada. DW calculated the cost and suggested the person might want to drive the 22 miles to the nearest Canadian PO to save money.and mailed them off to Canada. Almost $50 in postage for one small, light box. It's crazy!

That will be a very good dinner!when I was in college i was asked to tutor Trig... It is basic to waveform in many fields From Electronics to Physics.... dont remember much now... Your DH is probably more up on it...
I do cards but after christmas... too hectic. Except for family which will include gifts.
Which I bought today... Gift cars and candy and doggy bones....
and splurged on a prime Rib for Xmas dinner. They are much easier than the pork roast I wanted to do... I am not only feeling better my balance is better and I am not freezing all the time.
Now I am being a good girl and eating... Poached eggsies on sourdough toast and One Breakfast sausage...
Made veggie trays for both of us for dinner. Each tray had a monster Avocado half on it.... those beauties were two for five I bought four.... I may have to freeze some All are dead ripe... and I have Vitimine c powder as well as lemon and Lime juice... and straight on vinegar...
Oh and later on tonight I am going to make a big batch of pickled Veggies. Onion fennel Cucumber, mini bell peppers, Garlic, and what ever I can Glean out of the refrigerator. Though I may do the bells separate... Even the minis are just as strong flavored as regulars maybe even stronger.
All can be used on sandwiches, Stir fry, Steam saute... but the vinegar extends the shelf life.
pleas excuse the randomness of this post...
I bought some kombucha to give it a try... Had to do a 50/50 mix with plain water to be able to drink it. I enjoyed the taste even if it wasn't sweetened. I cant read the bottle but I think it was lemon/ginger... I can put in some sweetener next time...
Also got green goddess smoothie in a half gallon jug and another called blueberry something or other... I probably will only be able to drink a shot glass of it at a time. But knowing my son he will Mainline it and it will be gone in two weeks.
I have protein powder I can blend up for a shake... unflavored so I can put any fruit I want in it for a meal. I also have chicken soup flavored powder, That has to be mixed cold then heated up... I can add a few chopped mushrooms and or some Garlic and black pepper to make it taste awesome.
Oh and I forgot Fresh veggie plate.... I used fresh asparagus.... Oh yummy... Pickling the lefovers... I have a thirteen cup plastic container that Is slated for pickling job...
Appetite is back energy is back ... Fingers crossed that I don't gain weight.

It is way less money for me to ship in state than for me to ship out of state.

I guess I have a couple of years to go before I need to start skiing! We had a gorgeous snowfall today; it snowed all day. We went skiing, which means the snow was deeper than what one normally skis on in the Northeast.
I am finally becoming a real skier! I was not defeated by piles of pushed up snow! I did not fall. I was able to get the skis to float on the snow instead of diving in and being grabbed by the Snow Snakes (skier joke)!
This is the beginning of Year 4. one might think I would be a fantastic skier after 3 years, but when you begin at 62, the learning curve is steep. And bumpy.
I’m proud of myself! Okay to brag a little here, right?

Yeah, that’s me! I know you can’t recognize me like this. Take my word for it.
