Who is traveling in the next few days? I am leaving the tiny dog and the 4 chickens with DH, and going to be with DD, DSIL, and darling granddaughter! Then Christmas morning, back home. Four hours each way.

I had a dream that they lost their house in some kind of natural disaster and came to live up here! In the midst of all the chaos, I was secretly overjoyed.

Not me. My family is all here. All three of us.

Mid to western MA @trumpeting_angel? We'll be going ALL the way to Shelburne, 30 miles south. Just for Christmas Day. DD2 most likely has to work at least a half day at Smuggs.

Although it's below freezing in the morning, by mid-day we're at 50 and so slowly but surely getting the winter cleanup/pruning done. This is great weather for yard work because it's not hot and not a lot of uncomfortable sweating going on. Have to wear long sleeves anyway when truncating those roses.

We're supposed to have a white Christmas with a storm coming in on Christmas Eve. DH going to work on our firewood pile today.

Morning Old Folks we are headed to Son best friends new house they had built up in Tenino taking three pizza small cheese only, one all meat 3 meats, 1 chicken, bacon ranch did not have a red pizza sauce so one has salsa one was tomato past a bit of dry pesto and other is ranch

My hubby is moving wood from where he felled, cut and split it , to the wood pile shelter.

I moved wood today too! Moved the empty rack off the porch landing and replaced it with a full one. DW assisted with directions since

1. I have no depth perception
2. I can't see the far side of the rack to know if it is high enough or lined straight up with the landing.

I have done it myself but it is a lot easier when I don't have to keep getting off the tractor to see how things are going.
