I've been suffering brain fog lately -- age is catching up when you actually realize how much you've forgotten as the wheels churn and nothing results from frequent thought stalls -- and so decided to be a bit masochistic and take the Jeopardy On-line future contestant test. Surprisingly, the answers came easily and quickly EXCEPT for three. Do I really want/need to study Africa, baseball and French composers? I'm at that age and stage of meh-ness. Probably didn't qualify, but felt very satisfied and good with my trivial performance. I wish they'd bring back the Seniors Tournament....

@Peep_Show, that is one of the main reasons I forged ahead and studied for the HAM amateur radio operator element 4 test. I wanted to challenge my 66.5 year old brain to learn something hard and new and yes, see if I could. Missed 1 out of 50 questions. OLD BRAINS RULE!

To even sweeten the pot, I did a quick practice quiz the other day and got 100%. Did a happy dance and told DH not bad for almost 3 weeks later when I hadn't looked at the material for that length of time.

So don't worry. The brain fog is normal. I'm having trouble remembering movies we watched last year. No clue. I bring up a movie on Prime and DH tells me. Don't you remember this? We watched it last summer. I just give him a DUHHHHH look because honestly, I do not remember. Then I remember that the Methotrexate can affect your short term memory.

It's like, well let me watch it again! It'll be like I'm seeing it for the first time!
