The Old Folks Home

Diva, I'd let my son know, you will be glad to upgrade the house on his dime. I know he's telling the truth about wearing the "real masks" when he's complaining about not being able to breathe in them. That's why I prefer the full face mask, and the N95, or better, canister filter on it. They're so much easier to breathe in.
I plan on trying going to store with a beard net on, if they complain I have a second one to put on over it in my pocket, double layer of protection 😆
Other day I told DW I was going to do that at a dollar store. DW sent or 16yrs old DD with me with the list and her debit card with specific instructions, I was to go with her but I wasn't allowed out of the truck :hmm

It is hit and miss here. Some stores require a mask while others do not.

I have read that beards mess up the seal on some masks

price of oil just went negative
"May delivery for the U.S. benchmark crude, West Texas Intermediate, sank to a new low of minus $37.63 a barrel by the close of the oil market Monday, a staggering level that essentially means producers would be paying buyers to take oil off their hands."
From NBC news, 9:30 AM today.
Amazing. So much for my prediction back when gas was over $3 that gas would again go above $4. No chance of that at least for some time. The result will be more people buying yet even bigger vehicles, and we will get more pollution. Not what we need.

I guess some things are cheap in a recession...not good though!

Hi guys!

Low gas prices...man what a concept. remember when they used to have gas wars. Happened all the time back in the 60s. I remember it going down to 18 cents a gallon in the central IL town I grew up in.

Been busy in the garden the past two days. Waiting for the rest of the tractor hoses to get here. I hope that solves the leaky hydraulic hose problem for the next 18 years. DH said he lasted that long and the tractor lasted that long it was good enough guarantee for him.

You wouldn't believe the trouble he had matching up the connectors. It was worth an award at least.
