The Old Folks Home

Now that the entire flock is certain the chick has learned to drink from it's waterers, and eat from it's feeders, they've gone back to eating, and drinking from their bigger ones. Only mama, and baby are using the little ones. That saves me having to refill them every couple hours. Part of the hens are back to sleeping on the roost, but part of them still encircle mama, and baby. The rooster is back on the roost, but he's taken the spot closest to mama, and chick. The chick is spunky.

The chicks in the brooder are doing fine too.

The eggs are incubating, and every hour I hear the musical tones, when it turns the eggs.

Last night, I got horribly weak. It dawned on me I have not taken any vitamins since just before I went on the trip, and I was way low on Vitamin D. I grabbed a multivitamin, and a few drops of D. Within an hour I was feeling much better. A couple hours after that, I took a few more drops of D. I rested when I slept last night. When I'm low, I sleep, but don't really get rested. I did NOT forget to take my vitamins this morning. I will take a couple more drops of D, later on.
My Mom is keeping a bottle of vit D and C on the counter during the pandemic. Both seem to help a lot with the virus

You have a particular fear of covid being on Chemo. The data shows if you get
it you have a greater risk of death .. I tend to be solid on science not this or that will help
Vit D and covid are being studied and there is a not yet peer reviewed study with preliminary results.

We do have to wait until the study is completed and peer reviewed but Vit D is not expensive and has few side effects if you do not overdose on it
