The Old Folks Home

We have a couple stove type percolator's they do make great mud
remember Dad he wanted it mud
My grandmother used a stove top percolator. There is a knack to making good coffee in them. Something else to consider is the grind of the coffee. Coffee makers take a finer grind than percolators. Percolators take a coarse grind.

The best coffee I ever had was made in a camp percolator with the grounds thrown into the coffee pot and set on an open fire outside.

Delicious coffee. Sometimes we try to reinvent the wheel. It may make things easier but the end results aren't nearly as good as simple.

I like the old saying that the more complicated the plumbing the easier it is to plug up the toilet.

Morning old folk! Speaking of coffee I need to go refill my mug!
