The Old Folks Home

Probably depends on the tractor ;) What is the depreciation on an ox? Service depends on who is doing the work, same as an ox, who does the hooves and how often? :D
And can you use the ox to lift firewood carriers up onto a landing?
we were talking about horses rather than oxen
Who would want to lift firewood when you could be e.g. riding on a beach, showjumping, dressage, working in the woods (where we started remember) or just looking fabulous? :D

My grandmother used a stove top percolator. There is a knack to making good coffee in them. Something else to consider is the grind of the coffee. Coffee makers take a finer grind than percolators. Percolators take a coarse grind.
The grind make a big difference! I use 6 for the vacuum coffee maker and 8 for espresso. I do need to figure out a coarser setting for a new pour over I have that make two big mugs of coffee
