The Old Folks Home

There used to be the old Twilight Drive In back in Central IL in my younger days. The screen finally got damaged by a tornado and they shut down. Later tore it down and built a multiplex theater in its place.

Drive Ins are a bygone era I fear. Where once upon a time you went there with your favorite date and never watched the movie....;):gig
Oh yeah I remember not seeing Easy Rider...

Good to see you, been awhile.

Sorry about the clutch. I have a bumm knee that is fine... until I use the plow truck for too long. Yep, that clutch gives a quality workout!

So... I hope the physical therapy can help.

Morning everyone!

Sunshine and spring this morning although the ground is squishing when you walk across the yard so yes we are waterlogged. 4 inches of rain in two days here with more on the way.

Knees, I'd love to turn mine in for a factory upgrade. I don't know if the problem is in my knees proper, although Dr. has told me my left knee is 'loose' with stretched ligaments and tendons that cause it to shift, probably from the osteo/inflammation thing. Or with my lower back problems but once I get down, I have to pull myself up or get up like an old cow on all fours, butt in the air first. Or I have to call DH to help me because both knees are weak.

I'm sure if I tell Dr. he will slap me back into PT so I deal but I can sure sympathize with all you suffering knee problems.

Things are semi open here but Adair county above us is rapidly gathering new cases. It doubled in less than a week. Our county is staying stable but most of the big name stores are in Adair county so much for going there to pick up groceries.

Life for us is pretty much like the Clint Eastwood cartoon where he is sitting on the porch and says he can't notice the difference between lock down life and regular life because nothing has changed for him.

So sorry your knees are causing you grief. At least I know my right one is structurally sound, but I suspect arthritis or Lyme disease. I did take a hard fall on it once on the wood floor. At least the other one is good so far.

I can see that about life not being much different!

My biggest difference is working from home. Waiting on word about when Staff can start going back to campus

I think mine is structurally sound but need to have my left knee looked at, when things are being looked at again!
