Hope everyone had a great 4th of July. We celebrated by launching fireworks using my little one inch bore cannon. Loads of fun. Literally, stick a fuse in the fuse hole, load 'er up, light 'er up and run like.....well you know. One of our neighbors was watching us from across the road. Kept hearing 'oooooo's and ahhhhhhhhs coming from that direction.

Super busy here. Two days till I get that bleepin Prolia shot and my feel good month spirals down to a 6 month waiting ordeal for it to wear off so I can feel good again...well, with the exception of the joint pain and inflammation. It is my constant companion.

We were out in the timber most of the morning again harvesting wood. We have a sizable pile to be split now but we want to get as much of it gathered as possible as it is the hardest part of the job. Plus the temps have been hovering around 89 degrees with the humidity over 50% so it feels like a tropical jungle down there.

I've already done that, Clue. I talked the doctor into giving me a months reprieve so we could get things caught up here. I was due to get my latest shot in June. He said I would probably have a small amount of bone loss but that it would catch up after the July injection....that's what I'm afraid of.

Not yet. But working on it. I will be up there part time initially.

Dementia takes your loved ones twice. My condolences and sympathies on your loss. It's never easy.

Thanks, poor MIL didn't want to put him in a nursing home. She did all she could, but it got to the point where he couldn't walk so she had to.
