The Old Folks Home

Sounds simple enough....apparently I just don't have the knack....I either undercook....mmmmm crunchy or overcook...baby food. I am going to be making beans and rice tomorrow so I will try again. You can never say I give up. LOL
You can do it..., I did. Now, if I can just master "good" biscuit-making...

Good morning OF. I have been pretty out of it for awhile.
I had a heart cath Thrusday it helped some.
But the Dr. told me I was going to have to have a triple bypass and my aorta valve replaced.
I went to the hospital and did all the pre registration and tests. Had to get my second covid test.
I failed the respiratory test. Due to my COPD. Do ya'll think they will cancel my surgery?
I tried to call the Dr. Friday after all the tests. But his office closed at noon. So now I have to wait till Monday to see if he will still do the surgery or not.

Good morning. I am totally tired of these snakes! Had one grab one of my California valley quail yesterday. I was able to rescue it just in time and got bitten for my effort. Just a young King snake, but annoyed the heck out of me. I couldn't believe it got in there, just a tiny crack near the door.

Be safe, Cap.

CHICKA! All I can think of to say is just.....WHOW!.....and, :hugs . Try not to think the worse until you hear from your doctor. There are probably different angles to approach treatment if flags like COPD pop up.

I know this is pretty scary. I was told that I would probably have to have a mitral valve replaced at some point in my life after the age of 50. 17 years past that age but so far so good but still, the thought of heart surgery just scares the bejeebers out of me in spite of knowing that it is a fairly routine surgery any more.

Try to relax until you can talk to the doc. Stress isn't helping you one bit. Prayers sent.
